KaÏlūkuän Combat and Healing Arts is excited to present the Ablon Therapist Certification Program! This is an extensive, 9 month course resulting in the accumulation of over 20 years of research, development, clinical practice, and dissemination of Ablon by founder Virgil Mayor Apostol, author of "Way of the Ancient Healer: Sacred Teachings from the Philippine Ancestral Traditions" (North Atlantic Books, 2010).

The practice of Ablon as a hands-on form of traditional medicine from Apostol’s lineages will be broken down through an indigenous lens into various modules, including: science, physical and energetic aspects of the human body; correlation between the combat and healing arts; application of joint mobilization and therapeutic movements; adjunct therapies; and metaphysical practices. Written reports, case studies, and exams are required as part of the successful completion and passing of this program.

This is the first time that Apostol is offering this comprehensive program, which is ideal for those with a background in the allied health field, massage therapy, holistic health, complementary and alternative medicine, sports, personal training, martial arts, and for those who wish to learn the ways of ancestral healing.

This immersive program includes practicum hours dedicated to learning the indigenous practices of traditional healing and their application in the modern world.
